More police on Gedling's streets

At the 2019 General Election, the Conservative Government was elected on a promise of recruiting 20,000 new police officers nationally.

I am working with Nottinghamshire Police and Ministers to secure Gedling's fair share of these extra police officers so that our streets across Carlton, Netherfield, Burton Joyce, Gedling village, Colwick, Netherfield, Stoke Bardolph and Mapperley are safer.

My quarterly meetings with Gedling's Policing Inspector ensure that our police are addressing the issues you raise with me.

By backing our police with the funding, powers and the resources they need, this Government is keeping the public and our communities safe, so that Gedling residents can live their lives free from the fear of crime. ‘Operation Reacher’ teams are already smashing down drug dealers' doors in Gedling.

TOUGH ON CRIME
