More funding for our schools

The Conservative Government is investing an extra £2 billion into schools this year and next, with every state school in England benefitting and schools in Gedling receiving £2,754,220 in extra funding.

Local theatres donated pantomime tickets to school-children’s winning designs

Gedling’s MP Tom Randall has unveiled the winning designs of his 2021 Christmas card competition. Tom launched his competition in October, asking local school children to submit designs.

This week, Gedling’s Member of Parliament, Tom Randall MP, asked the Minister for School Standards to meet Gedling constituents Amy and Ella Meek, who launched the charity Kids Against Plastic, to see what more can be done to rid schools of single-use plastics.
