Netherfield Christmas switch-on

RANDALL’S ROUND-UP

The World Cup kicked off last week and, while cheering on England, I have remained busy in Parliament and across Gedling. My work on behalf of constituents has included:

💂‍♀️Attending the Remembrance service in Mapperley on Sunday, 19th November with Cllr John Parr and laying a wreath to honour those Gedling residents who made the ultimate sacrifice;

🇬🇧Sitting on a Bill Committee, scrutinising the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill;

🎟Opening the Age Concern Carlton Christmas fair and winning a tombola prize;

🗣Speaking with staff at Carlton Hardware ahead of the grand opening of the new shop later this week;

🏗Discussing the benefits of the Devolution Deal with local residents;

💷Celebrating the impact a Community Lottery Fund grant is having on a wellbeing business located in Netherfield;

🎄Attending the Netherfield Christmas light switch-on with County Councillor Mike Adams;

🛒Chatting with shoppers in Carlton Tesco during one of my supermarket surgeries;

📬Reporting back to Carlton residents on the work I am doing in Parliament and across Gedling to deliver on their priorities.

I am back in Westminster this week where a highlight will include showing the Prime Minister the winning designs of this year's Christmas card competition, designed by school children across Gedling.

Have a great week.
