Another busy week participating virtually in Parliament from my home in Arnold and working across Gedling. My work included:
Attending a briefing from the Health Secretary on the latest Coronavirus news.
Asking questions of the Deputy Director of Common Frameworks in the Cabinet Office about his work at the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Select Committee.
Listening to and digesting the details of the Chancellor's Budget, including the fantastic news that the East Midlands will be home to one of a new wave of Freeports.
Writing to the head of the Clinical Commissioning Group for Nottinghamshire, forwarding on some of the praise from those who have received their vaccination.
Briefing from the Minister for Welfare Delivery about Universal Credit.
Speaking to members of Kaleidoscopic, a Domestic Abuse charity, about their work.
As well as speaking to a number of residents on local concerns, including accessing business support.
Have a great weekend.
