Protecting our green spaces

Here in Gedling, we live in a great spot between a historic city and rolling countryside. Our green spaces are precious and once they have been built on, they are gone forever.

Good-quality homes that people can actually afford are vital but we should not be bulldozing over our green spaces. We should be building on derelict or unused land instead.

RANDALL’S ROUND-UP

I'm now back home in Gedling after my first week in Parliament this year. My work, at home and in London, has included:

Voting to protect Gedling residents' access to health services, education services, fire and rescue services, transport services, and border security during strikes;

New streets to be lined with trees

The Government created the Building Better, Building Beautiful Commission to advise the Government on how to promote and increase the use of high-quality design for new-build homes and neighbourhoods.
