Protecting and funding our NHS

Our NHS is vitally important to all of us. We need more frontline investment so our local NHS services across Gedling are fit for purpose for patients and staff alike.

Last winter, we secured £2,000,000 for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to upgrade A&E facilities. I’ll keep fighting for Gedling’s fair share of the Government's £33,900,000,000 increase in NHS spending – so you and your family have access to the services you need to keep healthy.

COVID-19 VACCINATION UPDATE

Over 22.3 million people have received a vaccine so far across the UK. This includes 34,183 Gedling residents, thanks to the Richard Herrod Centre and local GPs.

£17,761,000 to upgrade and refurbish QMC and City hospitals

The Health Secretary has announced that hospital staff, patients and visitors in the QMC and City hospitals, which are part of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, will benefit from refurbished wards, brand new electrics and upgraded ventilation systems.
